The Oman Psychiatric Society will host its inaugural international conference in Muscat on July 17–18 at the Sheraton Oman Hotel, bringing together leading psychiatrists, researchers, and mental health professionals from across the region and beyond. The event is designed to spotlight emerging advances in psychiatric care and strengthen collaboration between regional and international experts.
Conference Chair Dr Tamadhir Al Mahrouqi noted that the initiative marks a significant milestone for mental health development in Oman. The program will feature workshops and plenary sessions covering neuroplasticity, mood disorders, bipolar spectrum conditions, ADHD, and innovative clinical treatments, aiming to enhance professional practice and patient care standards across the Sultanate.
